The smell of summer drifts with the breeze. The clouds shiver in the sky as they part before the moon. The moon, half crystal ball and half midnight, and I alone beneath your lovers blush. I wonder if there’s anyone else like me in some other part of the world, looking up and wondering if there’s anyone like her. And far below, further than my eye can see the sun waits patiently as I stumble towards dawn. Lights, an offering to the sun by idolizing its power. Yet they fall so short of the mighty sun. A stream of light and the slightly flickering one that drives by everyone else. The night sky reflected in darkness, as if swallowing the sea of stars. The rooftop spiraled into the sky as if to touch a star were its dream. And I on top of the world, as far as the eye can see.
The darkness was surging,
And somehow merging
With her long silken hair.
Goodbye. I won’t be there
Tomorrow, to kiss you awake.
I’m sorry, it was all a mistake.
In your house, you alone shine.
And I need a home I can call mine.
The road leads me, and I follow
Hoping the darkness will swallow
My shadow before dawn can break.
I’m sorry, it was all a mistake.
The winds didn’t whisper me back.
And the ground with no footsteps to track,
Every step taking me further from you.
I don't know where I'll go or what I'll do.
But forgive me. For our sake.
I’m sorry, it was all a mistake.

Sunday Sky
Dear Sunday sky,
Goodbye.
It's time for us to part.
Time for us to start,
Going our separate way
But we shall meet someday
Not to long from now,
As fate chooses how,
Till then goodbye,
Dear Sunday sky.
Dear Sunday sky,
Goodbye.
I believe,
It's time for you to leave.
I wish we had more time,
But that'd be a crime
Against nature's laws.
Yet you could pause
And wave goodbye,
Dear Sunday sky.
Dear Sunday sky,
Goodbye.
If only you knew,
I was smiling cause of you.
Still smiling after you've gone,
Back to the world of the worn.
Before i look at the time once more,
And shut the verandah door,
For the last time, goodbye,
Dear Sunday sky.
Goodbye.
It's time for us to part.
Time for us to start,
Going our separate way
But we shall meet someday
Not to long from now,
As fate chooses how,
Till then goodbye,

Dear Sunday sky.

Untitled.
Your life might be a dark abyss,
But mine is kinda like this...
Daily routines , plans to make,
Mindless mugging, a silly mistake,
Finishing homework,promises to keep,
Reaching school half asleep.
Stealing tiffin, making calls,
Graffiti on the desks and walls.
Torn pockets,sleeping in class,
Making cog sheets, trying to pass.
Traffic jams, tuition everyday,
Lunch on the road, fees to pay.
Taking trips, ditching a friend,
Justifying the means by the end.
Sipping chai in a tea-stall,
Killing time, a missed call,
Calling back, feeling great,
Midnight conversations, sleeping late.
Getting high, bunking school,
Hitching rides, playing the fool.
Walking alone on an empty road,
Listening to music, movies to download,
Places to go, people to meet,
Freeloading, beef-steak to eat,
Books to return, notes to borrow,
I'll sit down to study sometime tomorrow.

Love at First Sight.
The air conditioner jittered on beside me, not allowing me to join even its conversation. A crowd of a hundred people gathered under one roof and no one seemed to notice me. Black jacket, tie and canvas shoes; I’d come dressed for a party. And there I was, all alone on the fringes of the party, waiting.
Black velvet dress, four inch heels, long open hair, and a smile that could break my heart. I’d ask you if you wanted a drink but my chair was the type that gets lonely easily. I’d ask you to dance but I was wearing left-foot shoes on both my feet. She smiled at everyone she met and I hoped she’d look at me and smile, even if by mistake. Her legs stitched through the crowd till she was out of sight.
Still trying to spot her I swayed on my chair when I caught a glimpse a red flash, then another. Her hips beat to the music as if those hips dictated the beat. Blonde curls jumped around her blue eyes and red lips. Her arms carelessly flowing through the air, she threw looks at the puddles of guys around her. I was too far for her to see, but I didn’t lose sight of her for a while.
White flowed of her shoulders like a dream forever, innocent eyes searching for a friend. Poised beautifully, you could almost touch the demure in her. Curled brown hair sits on her head as if a crown. So beautiful and innocent a girl you’d walk down a beach with, into the crimson sunset. It’d be enough just to kiss her hands and smile into her eyes. I would have gone and spoken to her but she was called away be her dotting parents.
Violet spandex finishing on her thighs, straps running around her back. Heels with straps circling her calves. Short midnight hair with purple streaks. She looked to her left, to her right, violet studs in her ears. Just before walking out again she looked straight at me and danced through the crowd towards me until lips were on mine. Cheers.

The Ranting Ranter.
Welcome, the carnival is now open if you'll please give me your souls I can let you enter the realm of hell. Welcome one and all keep the line moving people; we have a lot of people to please, here at our carnival if you don't mind. Hello little girl what are you doing here. Aren’t you a little little for a place like this? O so it’s the lights is it, they are attractive aren't they?
Well come right in little girl. Make the most of all you have and by the way would you be so kind as to pay the admission fees, that being your soul and promising to accept eternal damnation. Well thank you and in you go. Have a nice time the rides look like lots of fun, don't they.
Welcome one and welcome all. We would have got a candy floss machine but bah they’re just not any fun so if you get hungry all you have to do is put you arm in and voila there's food at the other end. Impressive little thing isn't it? Well moving on we decided to make all the rides the same charge for your benefit. They all cost 50 lashes only. See you can save all that money you brought up here for later. Our first ride is the one where Murdock here, smashes your arm while Kendra heals it for you. The beautiful part being that they don’t stop till your arm is beyond repair, nothing more than pulp. I hope you've all pumped up and come. And that’s the big roller coaster that passes through a large expanse of the sky as you can see but what you can't see are the little devils up there waiting to scorch you as you singe by and to comfort you after that we have the ice dip. Yes that’s where you're submerged in water almost frozen for a minute. As for the really big tent there that’s where the lions perform. It’s very dull really they just run around and eat anyone that enters. As for this attraction, right here our specialty, well that’s a secret so step right in, I’m sure you won't forget it.
Now who is this tugging at my trousers? Yes little girl would you like a personal tour? No. why are you crying? O you didn't know that our carnival was like this, well that’s sad but don't worry you can leave after eternity. It’s not too long from now anyway. How do I know? Well it’s a secret but I’ll tell you all the same. When this place is full which it will be soon because of all the sinners, it'll fall apart and the sinners will attack the world causing complete chaos leading to the end of the world. Now don't worry little girl, we're almost there, till then enjoy the show.
